Seeking Digital Media Analyst – Columbus, OH – $40k to $60k

Position Summary

Our client, a full service creative digital agency is seeking a Digital Media Analyst.  The Digital Media Analyst will be leading the execution of media strategies for large, multi-channel media campaigns.  They will be responsible for meeting and exceeding a variety of KPIs from the first touch point (impressions, click-thrus, engagement) to the final acquisition of a customer (cost per lead / action).  This position is open due to the agency’s continuing success developing new business.

Environment

Reporting to the Director of Digital Advertising, the Digital Media Analyst will be a member of a team of demand generation experts in both the paid and organic digital media space.  Working with client management, creatives, consumer insight experts and others, they will assist in the creation of innovative and creative campaign strategies that will exceed the agency’s clients’ expectations.

Experience

The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience in a variety of paid media channels including display, PPC, lead purchasing, social ad exchanges etc.  Specifically …

  • Display
    • DMP/DSP expertise including audience building using both first and third party data
    • Tag management and the generation of user defined attributes
    • The creation and management of flights
    • Private placements
  • PPC
    • Knowledge of major search engine management platforms including Microsoft Advertising and Google Ad Words
    • Experience with bid management platforms such as acquisio, search center and others would be ideal
    • The ability to critically analyze large scale search campaigns with an eye for lowering overall cost per lead
  • Lead Purchasing
    • Understanding the mechanics of buying leads from 3rd party data sources via a lead management platform
    • Ability to analyze ROI from dozens of lead sources and manage those lead streams to a high level of profitability
  • Social Ad Exchanges
    • Knowledge of media exchanges associated with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and others
    • Experience in using extensive attributes available through social media exchanges to maximize engagement and lower cost per acquisition

Requirements

  • 4 year degree in advertising, communications,marketing or related field
  • 2 to 5 years experience (agency preferred)
  • Demonstrated capabilities in meaningful data analysis … digital media planning and buying, excel programming, statistics or scientific work preferred
  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills
  • A very active and engaged user of digital media
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
