VP Account Director – Detroit – To $150k

Our client, a full service integrated national agency is looking for an experienced VP Account Director to join their Detroit office. As the VP Account Director you will be responsible for leading an integrated team of professionals with all advertising activities relating to the assigned client(s). You will be a senior agency representative leading a ten person account team on all initiatives ranging from: working directly with the clients on solving their business needs, working with agency partners, dealing with production of all mediums, assessing market results and offering smart strategic business recommendations, working closely with strategic planner, writing marketing plans, and attending/leading marketing / advertising meetings.
As the leader of this business, you will be responsible for all strategic, creative and integrated initiatives. You will be
responsible for ensuring clients receive the most intelligent, creative and comprehensive responses possible. The ideal
candidate will their work personally and has a strong entrepreneurial spirit! You must take pride in being a strong,
accessible mentor, ensuring the growth and development of your reports is as important as managing the Client’s business.
Additionally you must be a confident, assertive leader, who is solutions-oriented, makes decisions, can react quickly and
strategically to change, and loves a good challenge!

To qualify for this assignment requires an individual with:

• A Bachelor’s degree
• 10 to 12 years experience
• An Account Director level role for at least 2 years in the advertising industry, Restaurant, QSR or retail, franchise experience preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills, verbal, written, presentation.
• A strong relationship builder and hands-on leader
• Outstanding analytical skills (an ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data & provide strong, compelling fact-based recommendations.
• Knowledge and experience across both traditional and digital environments.
• Detailed oriented and a project management orientation.
• Excited about having the ability to contribute and impact directly the business of a client.
