Senior Interactive Project Director – St. Louis, MO – $75 to $90k

Our client, an innovative full service (traditional and digital) communications agency is seeking an experienced artistically adept multimedia superstar to join and lead a team of talented creatives.  The candidate we seek has demonstrated creativity and excellence in a variety of media and platforms from concept through execution.

Position Description:

Drive multimedia projects from initiation through completion
Support Account Management and Creative Director in planning, managing and controlling the budget, schedule and scope of the projects.
Mentor and advise project team members on project management process and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Executes full life cycle and project management on multimedia projects … analysis of client requirements, scoping and scheduling, budgeting and strategizing activities.
Assists Account Management in developing and managing production schedules, projections and budgets for assigned projects.
Defines and manages project team expectations regarding scope of work and responsibilities.
Participates in the development and maintenance of legal documentation pertaining to projects.
Maintains and enhances the creative strategy developed by the Creative Director.
Plans for and acquires appropriate project resources to complete projects.
Provides accurate time estimations for work and project management team.
Provides creative guidance and mentors junior project managers.
Capable of presenting creative solutions to clients.
Disseminates knowledge regarding emerging technologies on a regular basis throughout the agency.

Qualifications:

5+ years experience in a professional digital design / agency environment.
Experience managing online marketing / communication projects.
Outstanding conceptual and problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills … verbal, written, presentation.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in teams in a fast-paced client service oriented environment.

Application Knowledge and Experience:

Mac OS X, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver or similar … extra credit if experience includes After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Maya or other 3D software.
